#3: FAQ

(c) TO THE OWNER
I have collected approximately five (5) questions and questioned some other strands to answer their curiosity about what's their question about our strand?

— Cyril, 17. Do HUMSS Students still have weakness when it comes to public speaking? In this question, it was really proven that even if you're a HUMSS student. Your inner weaknesses will still come in. Yes, even to myself. When it comes to public speaking my mind gets crumbled and yet I still believe that I need to practice more and more to develop my own public speaking self.

— Krisha, 17. Why did you choose HUMSS? I have chosen HUMSS because I believe this is the strand that I'm seriously sure that I wanted to go for. Not just because I wanted to take education on my college but also to upgrade my own character as a student to share it to my future students as well. I believe that HUMSS is where my heart desires and where am I confident to and I am fully prepared and ready to be with at this strand and start the years as a Senior High School student.

— Meg, 17. What are the things that challenges us? We HUMSS students, have the saying "Nag-HUMSS ka lang," "Bakit ka nag-HUMSS? Puro lang naman sulat diyan eh," I believe that each people have the task which we are confident to do. And we are intended that we're comfortable with it. But I also believe that, it is not that easy and we are also managed to be an advanced researcher about new vocabulary, new environments as we do essays, poetry's, etc in order to have a deeper knowledge to apply it on our college years and also to be one on how must we will know how to make intelligent decisions.

— Eisen, 17. Since you are a HUMSS student, what is the difference between humanities and social sciences? Humanities and social sciences deal with human aspects like politics, law, linguistics, economics, and psychology. One of the major differences between the two is that humanities involve a more critical and analytical approach whereas social sciences deal with more of a scientific approach.

— Kirstentahle, 17. Do HUMSS Student represent the future of the Philippines' Government sector? For this question, it is really a challenging yet interesting one since some students in HUMSS wanted to lead and serve the Philippines someday.

We. As a Youth, We assumed that someday, we are the reason of getting up of our economy rate. Because we want to be recognize by other country by saying, " The Philippines has so many good leaders." "Philippines is the best example of country that has a good citizens and etc.,

Being a HUMSS student, is taking part of responsibility in our society. I take this track because I want to be a public servant someday, to be a good leader and good citizens of this country. As a HUMSS student, our awareness in our society is increasing. So it means we think what is the right thing will do, what is best will you do and what is the benefit of the decision you made. Somehow, As a HUMSS student we strongly believed that we are the future of our country, because in this track, you will teach on how will you be a good leader? how will you treat people on their faith or on how you respect their opinion.

I know, someday, those who are a HUMSS student will be a good leader. Not only in humss but also in other track, they can also be a good leader someday. We need to study hard, weneed to be a better person for us to have a better country.

#4: 4 Struggles As A HUMSS Student

"N ag-HUMSS ka lang." repeat it again. "Nag-HUMSS ka lang," well. That's what you expect. I will now show up some real STRUGGLES in our strand and some tips on how do we manage that struggles and to relief ourselves to the stress we're facing to. I know that every strand is a stressful yet exciting one since I love doing essays, poems, and so on. But one thing's for sure .  1. You really need to be a confident public-speaker! Erase your stage-fright! When you are speaking in front of class, make sure that you are confident enough and always showcase what you really can do. Either it is your comfort zone or not, HUMSS will always enhance on how will you develop yourself as a public speaker, to be a good writer, and to believe on your own self as well. 2. Teachers will expect as much when you do writings or activities! In the last semester, 200 words is not enough to satisfy your teachers especially if you just repeated the same words over again an

#13: Weaknesses in Choosing HUMSS

L ooking at the brighter side of HUMSS. There's still some weaknesses that I've been carrying on especially if I know that I'm not in the mood of studying. Pretending that you're not tired just because you are scared that people will say, "Ang arte mo." I sometimes do have sleep anxiety even if I'm tired but thanks to God it literally doesn't affect my sleep especially I needed a lot of rest to again start up a big day.  U s HUMSS need to face up a BIG CHALLENGES everyday, I mean a lot stressful days especially if you don't literally get what is the lesson for today then a seatwork will came and you'll do it for like 15-20 minutes. Second is, being mental blocked at recitations. Even if you've read a lot and memorize it yesterday before the recitation. Teachers will also give tons of reading materials, writing and research topics, and other assignments that may include a creative output like poems, paintings, and speeches.
